Why the EU wants a No Deal Brexit to cause an UK & EU economic collapse.

I am not one of those that peddle an anti-EU narrative that sees EU leaders and elected representatives of the EU Parliament as akin to Alien Reptilians with an agenda based on subjugating all of humanity into slavery.

I see them merely as over paid puppets of the Bankers and Corporations who put their own financial and political self interests first and before the interests of the people and nations of Europe.

Hence a major problem with No Deal Brexit.

A No Deal Brexit on October 31st is not the end of the process of Brexit, is is just the start of a decades long process of radical legal change in the UK. And herein lies the problem.

A No Deal Brexit will require a systematic rewrite, renegotiation and redrafting of 50 years of UK law re every piece of EU law in effect in the UK. At the same time it will signal the start of renegotiations with the EU re every piece of former EU treaty laws, legislation and EU rules operating in the UK.

The opposite method re transposition of these EU laws directly into UK law if it occured would not be a Brexit.

EU LAWS WOULD STILL BE OPERATIONAL BUT DISGUISED AS UK LAWS. 

Hence that would not be a Brexit at all.

Any 'Brexit' based on transposing and then transcribing all pre-existing EU laws into UK law, is merely EU control of Great Britain via the back door.  

If we are to actually renegotiate all the EU laws in effect in the UK then this will be a massive undertaking taking decades to finish.

In the meantime,all treaties with the EU would require renegotiation as each new EU law or regulation came into force. EU laws would evolve and change and would then require constant re-negotiation re those laws and then for them to re-transcribed via UK legislation into UK law.

But an even bigger problem looms.

If as the Hard Line Brexit supporters assert, the EU is run by cabals of evil men and women, then these sinister Eurocrats will have an interest in ensuring an economic collapse both in the UK and in the EU after Brexit.

They will actually want a No Deal Brexit and the economic and social chaos that will erupt both in the EU and UK afterwards. 

Why ? Because this economic and social chaos will send a variety of messages to the EU electorate.

The first is that if you leave the EU, then your national economy will collapse like Britains and your society implode.

The second is that the only way out of the economic crash in the EU caused by Brexit is for faster European integration.

The third is that it will ensure no more nations in the EU ever consider undertaking a Brexit like process of disengaging from the EU.

Fourthly it will assist in a resurgence of support for pro-EU parties in the UK and calls for the UK to re-enter the EU.

I suspect that this will be the plan.

The plan is to cause a collapse in the negotiations over Brexit with the EU to trigger a crash in the economies of both the EU and UK.

There are those who will say that it is not in the interests of the EU for Brexit to fail.

Those people are wrong,

They are not thinking like a Eurocrat.
