Lee Harvey Oswald, JFK, General Walker and Operation Northwoods.

The debate over whether the killer of Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone has gone on for a long time, without any definitive answer.

Whilst the Warren Commission stated that Oswald acted alone, this verdict on the assassination has always been contested.

For a while I have been researching what is known as Operation Northwoods. (1)

Operation Northwoods was a proposed false flag operation against the Cuban government that originated within the U.S. Department of Defense(DoD) and the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) of the United States government in 1962. The proposals called for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) or other U.S. government operatives to commit acts of terrorism against American civilians and military targets, blaming them on the Cuban government, and using it to justify a war against Cuba. The possibilities detailed in the document included the possible assassination of Cuban émigrés, sinking boats of Cuban refugees on the high seas, hijacking planes, blowing up a U.S. ship, and orchestrating violent terrorism in U.S. cities.[2] The proposals were rejected by John F. Kennedy.

The plan was drafted by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, signed by Chairman Lyman Lemnitzer and sent to the Secretary of Defense. Although part of the U.S. government's anti-communist Cuban Project, Operation Northwoods was never officially accepted; it was authorized by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, but then rejected by President John F. Kennedy. According to currently released documentation, none of the operations became active under the auspices of the Operation Northwoods proposals.

It appears that the killing of President Kennedy relates to Operation Northwoods and a plot by a cabal of senior generals in the US army including Generals Edwin Walker and General Lyman Louis Lemnitzer to start a war with Cuba.

When President Kennedy stopped Operation Northwoods from happening, the US army intelligence assets deployed in the field ready to enact the Operation Northwoods plan, such as Lee Harvey Oswald who would have been one of the agents used to undertake the false flag attacks in the US to act as the pretext for starting the war against Cuba, were instead directed towards the murder of Kennedy himself.

The sacking of General Walker by Kennedy and the subsequent assassination attempt by Oswald of General Walker all link straight back to Operation Northwoods.

It has been my belief that Oswald had all along been recruited into the United States Army Security Agency (ASA) of the US military intelligence when he was a Marine.

He was trained as an Aircraft Control and Warning Operator Course, which "included instruction in aircraft surveillance and the use of radar".[36] He was given the military occupational specialty of Aviation Electronics Operator. On July 9, he reported to the Marine Corps Air Station El Toro then departed for Japan the following month, where he was assigned to Marine Air Control Squadron 1 at Naval Air Facility Atsugi near Tokyo.

Composed of soldiers trained in military intelligence, the ASA was tasked with monitoring and interpreting military communications of the Soviet Union, the People's Republic of China, and their allies and client states around the world. The agency was established after World War II, when the Soviet Union and the US had been allies. In the postwar years, after the Soviet Union and communist governments gained power in eastern Europe and China, they became enemies in the Cold War between Communist states and allies, and the US and western nations. The ASA was directly subordinate to the National Security Agency, and all major field stations had NSA technical representatives present.

Hence we can see that Oswald was probably in The United States Army Security Agency when he was moved into the CIC ( Counter Intelligence Corps )
The United States Army Counter Intelligence Corps (Army CIC) was a World War II and early Cold War intelligence agency within the United States Army consisting of highly trained Special Agents. Its role was taken over by the U.S. Army Intelligence Corps in 1961.

(3)
United States Army Counterintelligence is the component of United States Army Military Intelligence which conducts counterintelligence activities to detect, identify, assess, counter, exploit and/or neutralize adversarial, foreign intelligence services, international terrorist organizations, and insider threats to the United States Army and U.S. Department of Defense.

I suspect that Oswald was sent into the Soviet Union as a military intelligence asset.

It was also why Oswald was so easily able to return to the US after defecting to the Soviet Union.

He was still operating as an agent of military intelligence.

Now we go back to Operation Northwoods.

The Operation Northwoods plan was put forward by Lyman Louis Lemnitzer (August 29, 1899 – November 12, 1988)

who was a United States Army general, who served as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1960 to 1962. He then served as Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO from 1963 to 1969.
The Operation Northwoods plan was rejected by JFK

The plan was drafted by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, signed by Chairman Lyman Lemnitzer and sent to the Secretary of Defense. Although part of the U.S. government's anti-communist Cuban Project, Operation Northwoods was never officially accepted; it was authorized by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, but then rejected by President John F. Kennedy. According to currently released documentation, none of the operations became active under the auspices of the Operation Northwoods proposals.

Now here is where it gets really interesting. General Lemnitzer was forced to testify about his connections to General Edwin Walker.

He was also required to testify before the United States Senate Foreign Affairs Committee about his knowledge of the activities of Major General Edwin Walker, who had been dismissed from the Army over alleged attempts to promote his political beliefs in the military.

(5)

This is General Edwin Walker. (6)

Edwin Anderson Walker (November 10, 1909 – October 31, 1993) — known as Ted Walker — was a United States Armyofficer who served in World War II and the Korean War. He became known for his staunch conservative political opinions and was criticized by U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower for promoting a personal political opinion while in uniform. Walker resigned his commission during 1959, but Eisenhower refused to accept his resignation and gave Walker a new command of the 24th Infantry Division in Augsburg, Germany. Walker again resigned his commission during 1961 after being publicly and formally admonished by the Joint Chiefs of Staff for allegedly referring to Eleanor Roosevelt and Harry S. Truman as "pink" in print and for violating the Hatch Act of 1939 by attempting to influence the votes of his troops. President John F. Kennedy accepted his resignation, making Walker the only US general to resign during the 20th century.

But this is just the start.

General Edwin Walker was the subject of an assassination attempt by Lee Harvey Oswald.

On April 10, 1963, as Walker was sitting at a desk in his dining room, a bullet struck the wooden frame of his dining room window. Walker was injured in the forearm by fragments. Marina Oswald later testified that her husband told her that he traveled by bus to General Walker's house and shot at Walker with his rifle.[30][31] Marina said that Oswald considered Walker to be the leader of a "fascist organization"
After President Kennedy's assassination, Walker wrote and spoke publicly about his belief that there were two assassins at the "April Crime" - Oswald and another person that was never found.
Immediately after the Warren Commission released their report during September 1964, Walker described it as a "farcical whitewash".[42] Although he accepted their finding that it was Oswald who shot at him the previous year, Walker claimed that the Commission was attempting to hide "some sort of conspiracy" that included an association between Jack Ruby and Oswald.

(6)

So we see that Oswald tried to shoot Walker.

Why ?

Because Walker knew of the Operation Northwood plan and potentially of the group of high ranking generals and army plotters in the army who were actively plotting against Kennedy.

And once Walker was removed from the army he became a loose end that needed to be shut down.

It appears that Oswald was told that Walker was the leader of a 'fascist organisation',  and ordered to kill him, hence why he targeted him. This is what Oswald told his wife after shooting at General Walker.

But if that fascist organisation was a secret organisation within the army. So how did Oswald know about it ?

Unless he was working for the military and was ordered to assassinate Walker as a way to silence him.

It appears that Oswald was told to execute Walker as a way to protect the army and the United States  from the threat of this fascist organisation inside the army, but that Oswald was not aware that the fascist organisation General Walker was alleged to have been involved with was also run by the same army people who were in charge of Oswald.

Gore knew that Lemnitzer was a secret operation expert: in 1943 he had been in charge of the negotiations to cause a rift between Italy and the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler; and in 1944, along with Allan Dulles, he led the secret negotiations with the Nazis in Ascona, Switzerland, to prepare Germany’s capitulation (Operation Sunrise). [4].
He was also involved in the creation of the Allies «stay-behind» network by using and recruiting Nazi agents to fight the USRR and helped war criminals and people accused of crimes against humanity to escape to Latin America. However, Gore was not able to prove Lemnitzer’s involvement in such facts.
The recently published secret correspondence of General Lemnitzer showed that he, the Commander of the American Forces in Europe (General Lauris Norstad), and some other high-ranking officers were conspiring against Democrat President John F. Kennedy’s policy.
Extreme right-wing officers opposed Kennedy’s refusal to involve the American Army in a military intervention in Cuba. They blamed CIA civilians for the bad planning of the Bay of Pigs disembark and accused President Kennedy of being a coward for opposing the use of the US Air Force to support the Cuban counterrevolutionaries.
(5)

This is why Oswald was ordered to kill General Edwin Walker. To shut him up. If Walker ever spoke about the secret group in the army that were plotting against Kennedy, they would all be ruined.

But here is where it gets even murkier.

In 1975, President Gerald Ford appointed Lemnitzer to the Commission on CIA Activities within the United States (aka the Rockefeller Commission) to investigate whether the Central Intelligence Agency had committed acts that violated US laws, and allegations that E. Howard Hunt and Frank Sturgis (of Watergate fame) were involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
 (5)

In other words, the man who probably planned the Kennedy assassination with the CIA was appointed to over see the investigation into the Kennedy assassination.

Everything ties back to Operation Northwoods.

Kennedy. Lemnitzer. Walker. Oswald.

Oswald was not innocent.

He was working for US military intelligence and was acting under the command of the group of plotters in the army led by Lemnitzer and Walker.

When Walker as removed from the army, Oswald was ordered to kill him to shut him up.

Even General Walker stated that Oswald was part of a plot and that he saw two people shoot at him the night of the assassination attempt against him, which conclusively means that Oswald did not act alone.

He was part of a conspiracy.

Oswald was part of the plot.

And he was also the patsy for it.

I have just discovered this book, that also looks at the links between General Walker and Oswald.

I dont know if it joins the dots to Operation Northwoods though.
